#GoVeg with Vedge Andheri Mumbai : Vegetarian Gourmet Food Review

Global favorite dishes served in an edgy veg avatar in a casual, contemporary and comfortable ambiance by superbly trained and polite staff, Vedge truly is a must-visit not only by hardcore vegetarians but also non-vegetarians because such delicious food at quite value for money price points should not to be missed by anyone :) Families, groups of friends or even couples, there is something for everyone here and it was an honor to be a part of review session for their new menu.




From sodas to freakshakes, from nachos to pasta and from pani puri to biryani, try out whatever tickles your fancy because everything my family tried was absolutely lip-smacking, so much so that my parents (who always choose the traditional kulcha-naan combos) also tried and loved dishes they normally don't! Every dish is loaded with exotic flavors and gives both gourmet as well as nostalgic comfort-food feel. Ask the staff to suggest dishes if you get confused with the vast menu.

Refreshing apple love in POISON PUNCH,
Childhood soda delight comes alive in STRAWBERRIES & CREAM soda float,






Wholesome creamy fragrant MALAYSIAN LAKSA LEMAK coconut curry soup,
Spicy COTTAGE CHEESE tossed in BLACK BEAN & SESAME SAUCE,
Soft CORN CURD that tasted phenomenal with SWEET CHILLY MAYO,
Best DIMSUMS I have had in a long time and will go back for!
Sublime creamy THAI MASSAMAN CURRY with steamed rice (portion enough for 3 people!),
Sweet-Spicy-Tangy explosion of flavors in WOK TOSSED BARBEQUE NOODLES,
Spicy-Cheesy and very Indian twist in CLASSIC LASAGNE,
Deceptively simple yet sinfully delicious PENNE PASTA in ALFREDO sauce,




KESAR PISTA KULFI loaded with dry fruits,

Last but not the least, CHOCOLATE MUD PILE, a massive dessert made on the table by mixing chocolate brownie, choco nuts, chocolate sauce, sugar and vanilla ice cream! If that sounds like heaven, just wait till you taste it :)



Easy to see why Vedge is such a landmark when it comes to Mumbai's vegetarian restaurants. My family has already included it in our all time favorites and already planning of coming back soon. #GoVeg #GoVedge :)

Already had a wonderful time at Peninsula restaurant at The Peninsula Grand Hotel in company of loved ones last month, so getting a chance to visit Opa Bar & Cafe for a review session with foodie friends was like a dream come true. The ambiance is amazing and crowd is classy. Colorful, vibrant and reminiscent of Arabian Nights in every way, this is one spacious place to chill out with friends and forget all stress of the day. Service is leisurely and prices are on higher side. Nothing matters when food and coffee here is excellent.  Yes, even though it is a bar and has superb drinks (I recommend Long Island Tea), coffee is unbelievably good. Ferrero Shake is also a must-have. Among food starters, Mushrooms on Toast, Bruschetta, Cottage Cheese Aglio Olio, Brie Fritters are very good. Mushrooms are creamy, Bruschetta is crispy refreshing, Cottage Cheese melt in mouth and Fritters so cheesy! In main course, Pasta in Pink Sauce was my favorite, not too heavy and full of flavor

TiME to enter the future is NOW, TiME TO 3D, and HOW! While anybody who knows me knows how invested I am in looking at the world through my camera lens, once in a while something happens to make me look away from my camera, and look with awe. Nope, I haven't turned into a poet. Just had a life-changing experience at TiME TO 3D , a collaboration between Imaginarium (India's Largest 3D Printing Company) and Time Media Group ,situated in the heart of college-going crowd at Vile Parle, Mumbai. This is India's first of its kind hub that allows everyone and anyone to enter the stunning world of 3D Printing. All of this sounds great in theory. But these people truly believe in the concept and so even in practice, it is pretty fab :) Walk in like I did, with no knowledge at all and walk out amazed. Taftoon Bar & Kitchen BKC Mumbai : Delicious Diaries On Grand Trunk Culinary Tour

Beautiful spacious abode of excellent dishes from legendary Grand Trunk route, binge on some dishes not available elsewhere, each one of them has extremely authentic taste (I have spent my childhood eating authentic Bengali, Bihari, UP, Punjabi food, so this was a beloved homecoming sort of feast)! Ambiance is elegant, the open kitchen rightly occupies center-stage, staff is polite and good at suggesting appropriate dishes as per one's tastebuds, service is fast and menu is vaaaaaaast with more than enough choices for both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. Each dish is succinctly explained in the menu and ingredients used are clearly top-notch.
