Festive Season Special -Diwali over the years!


I love Diwali. Who doesn't? Actually,I love all festivals as they have all that amazing food :D 
Okay,seriously, Diwali is cool. It is the biggest festival in our household. And every moment is worthy of cherishing. All that roaming through the streets and see the decorative lamps and bulbs and diyas everywhere, all that traditional delicacy mom makes and we binge on for days altogether as a family, the ritual cleaning of every part of the home and decorating it with flowers and diyas, the bonhomies, the joy..Oh Diwali, why you no come more than once a year :D

​Lovely experience at Punjab Grill with family at dinner. Been to their Lower Parel outlet some time ago and quite liked the food but they have improved it by several notches here, making it one of my must-visit family dining places in Mumbai for North Indian/Punjabi food. Situated in Phoenix Marketcity mall, it is a decently sized outlet, but I felt that the tables were too closely arranged which made it a bit difficult to have private conversations. Beautiful spacious abode of excellent dishes from legendary Grand Trunk route, binge on some dishes not available elsewhere, each one of them has extremely authentic taste (I have spent my childhood eating authentic Bengali, Bihari, UP, Punjabi food, so this was a beloved homecoming sort of feast)!
