It always feels nice to be able to celebrate a joyous occasion such as-marriage, engagement, religious festivals with our loved ones..and even better to be a part of such an occasion at a dear friend or colleague's home and capture the beautiful moments via my canon lens :) Here are a few glimpses...

              A cute and happening Cuban pub called Havana Cafe & Bar is the just the place to go to for a night of fun with friends after a loooong office week. One thing I would really like to point out right at the start is that, unlike most other pubs where music is super loud and is dedicated to just drinks, some chakna and people dancing, the theme of Havana is pretty refreshing, with different events taking place through the month, such as Ladies Nights, Open Mic Nights, Poetry Nights and the like. I absolutely love Chinese food, yup, the Indian Chinese version. But over the years, my sensitive stomach has started rejecting the overly oily, spices and gravies laden chinese food we binge on throughout our college days without a second thought. I knew that my feast at Imperial China would be devoid of any such worries and I was so on point! Was here for a sneak peek at their ongoing Satay Food Fest and ended up feasting on some classic as well as innovative delicacies. The ambiance is classic heritage, color scheme muted but elegant, choicest of arts and artifacts elevating the ambiance, staff is simply delightful, providing warmth in every interaction, service is quite fast, quality of food avant garde as expected from a brand such as Hilton. In the ongoing Satay Food Fest, we have a choice of veg as well as non veg satays. We tried and simply loved Paneer as well as Mushroom & Cheese satays. Pay special attention to accompanying sauces with every dish, they are brillian...

​ One of the best buffets in Mumbai, was here for their Maharashtrian Food Festival that is going on till 29th Jan and it was perfect at all levels. The decor is spruced up with colors and artifacts to emphasize on the traditions of Maharashtra and the staff is decked up in traditional attire, making the festival truly joyous. Food galore with something for everyone, the dessert section specially is humungous and deserves a 2 day fast so as to be able to do justice to it all :) Food mainly has Maharashtrian delicacies, authentic all of them, replete with ingredients such as coconut, chillies, groundnuts, spices that are used extensively here and have earthy flavors. Then there is also a spread of salads, pizzas, pastas so really nothing is amiss! We started off with bhajiyas and cutlet as starters and moved on to delicacies such as masala bhaat, veg kolhapuri, khade masale ka paneer, tamatar ras, papads, kolhapuri aamti, gav...
